Do you have what it takes to be king of the Jungle?

Bored of watching Survival programmes from the confines of your sofa and wishing you could immerse yourself for real?

The Ape Factor is what you’ve been waiting for!

It’s like a secret Attenborough/Grylls/Mears lovechild, combined with that fuzzy fundraising feeling. Climbing, abseiling, nest building, star gazing through the forest canopy, foraging and making lifelong friends…

The Ape Factor has it all in bucket loads

What’s Involved?

Over 2 days you and your troop will take part in various teamwork and survival activities designed to challenge you. You’ll learn more about the battle that apes face every day to survive and make a shed load of money to help them as you go.

Even better, our very own ‘jungle’ is based in a secret location within Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. Recently survival expert Bear Grylls himself said;
“I’m often asked where my favourite place in the UK is and without doubt it is North Wales”

Example activities

Foraging
Team building activities
Climbing / Abseiling
Nest building
Building fires
Conservation project
You will also have the opportunity to sleep under the stars

Who Can Enter?

You can either enter as a troop of 4 or come along as a lone ranger and join a troop on arrival. Over 18’s only.
There will be individual and team activities with prizes up for grabs. You’ve got to swing it to win it!

It don’t mean a thing, if you ain’t got that swing.

The Charities

This event has been designed on behalf of Jacha Potgieter from Platform Galeri and Alpine Coffee Shop. Proceeds will go to registered charities Ape Action Africa and Orangutan Appeal UK.

Fundraising

We are asking you to fundraise a minimum of £150 each for this challenge but the sky is the limit. The more you can raise the more apes we can help.

Your entry fee will cover the costs for you to take part in the event so every penny you raise will go to these 2 fantastic ape-tastic charities.

Once you have registered you will receive a fundraising pack with everything you need to get you started.
