Covid-19 Customer Information
Update Monday 19th October – All Breese Adventures walks/events are cancelled up to 10th November 2020 due to Welsh government announcement.
In writing this Covid-19 Customer Information document we have taken advice from official guidance by the HSE, Gov.uk, British Mountaineering Council, Mountain Training Governing Body, Gwynedd Council and Snowdonia National Park.
The aim of this document it to provide you, the customer upon booking a walk with the latest requirements both from the bodies mentioned above and Breese Adventures.
We will continue to monitor the guidelines and laws laid down by the Welsh government and inform you of any changes.
Breese Adventures route choices
We have made the decision that we will not be offering any walks on Snowdon for the rest of 2020. This is in line with the National Park message to explore other areas. We have created a set of walks under the brand Authentic Snowdonia. https://www.breeseadventures.co.uk/authentic-snowdonia/
Maximum participants per walk
To aid with social distancing we will have a maximum number of 6 participants per walk.
Impact on Local communities
Snowdon sees around 650,000 people every year and the impact on the local villages is enormous. Post Covid19 “lockdown” the park is likely to see a huge number of visitors in a short space of time.
We want to do our bit to help the local communities that will see the highest visitor numbers by “staying away” from Snowdon for a while.
This again is in line with the National Park Authority message of #BeSafe #BeKind #TreadLightly.
Our brand Authentic Snowdonia will take you to some of the quieter parts of the national park and spread the load on local communities.
