Betws-y-Coed Christmas Walk
Betws-y-Coed is known as the Gateway to Snowdonia and is the perfect base to explore this part of the stunning national park. This beautiful village is surrounded by Gwydyr Forest and it’s name actually translates as ‘Sanctuary in the Forest’.
This is your chance to join us for a Christmas guided walk adventure and let us show you the best parts of our beautiful home village and surrounding area. You’ll be accompanied by friendly qualified leaders at all times.
Your adventure will finish with mulled wine and mince pies.
Why not stay around for Betws-y-Coed Christmas Pantomime (link will be posted on the facebook event page)
Please see Visit Betws-y-Coed for accommodation.
Full details will be sent to you in the run up to the event.
The walk will take you into the forest, past where two rivers meet, past waterfalls and along part of the new Snowdonia Slate Trail. Approximately 15km and 5 hours.
The route will be subject to change depending on the weather. A large part of the route will be uneven underfoot and walking boots will be essential.
