About the Event
Trek with Wales Air Ambulance to help them save lives
On 21st May 2017 you are invited to join the Wales Air Ambulance team to trek to the summit of Snowdon in the moonlight.
Every step you take will raise vital funds to help this charity save lives.
Leaving Llanberis at 1am with head torches. We will head along the Llanberis Path to ascend Snowdon (or Yr Wyddfa to use its Welsh name) in the moonlight, reaching the summit in time to see the sunrise from one of the most beautiful destinations on earth. We will return along the same path in the first light of dawn,reaching Llanberis just in time for breakfast.
As part of the Wales Air Ambulance team you will get:

T-shirt, medal and gift bag
Friendly support on the end of the phone/email to answer any questions running up to your event
This is an example itinerary, exact details will be sent to you in your event information pack 2 weeks before the event.
1am – Meet at Snowdon Mountain Railway in Llanberis
1.05 – Introduction to your mountain leader. Safety briefing.
1.15 – Start walking
5am – Reach the summit (sunrise 5.01am)
5.30 – Start the descent (turnaround may be quicker depending on the weather)
8.30 – Arrive back in Llanberis
Breakfast will be available for an additional cost
How much will it cost?
£50 per person registration fee (includes a minimum £10 donation to the charity) – there is NO minimum fundraising requirement for this event.
You can secure your place for £25 – the rest will be payable by 26th March 2017.
