About Welsh Hearts
Welsh Hearts is a registered charity (no. 1154109). Our mission is centered on saving lives in Wales via our heart screening programme “Heart Screening Wales” (for ages 8 to 45 years of age), funding Defibrillators and emergency lifesaving equipment throughout Wales, and providing CPR training sessions.
Cardiovascular disease accounts for a third of all deaths in Wales, where the death rate is higher than in the majority of countries in Western Europe. We are helping to preserve, safeguard and promote the cardiovascular health of all persons in Wales.
