Snowdon Sunset Challenge in aid of Manchester Children’s Hospital
Climb to the summit of Snowdon (or Yr Wyddfa to use it’s Welsh name) in time to see the sunset from the highest point in Wales.

Please note that, although we would love to, we cannot guarantee a clear sky for this event!
The organisers hold Public Liability Insurance. We recommend that you take out separate personal accident insurance for this event.
This is an example itinerary, exact details will be sent to you in your event information pack 2 weeks before the event.
4.30pm – Meet in Llanberis for registration
5.15pm – Introduction to your mountain leader. Safety briefing.
5.30pm – Start walking
9pm – Reach the summit (sunset 9pm)
9.10pm – Start the descent (turnaround may be quicker depending on the weather)
Midnight – Arrive back in Llanberis
This challenge is suitable for anyone over 14 with a good level of fitness*.
We recommend our ‘Challenging’ Training Plan for this trek.
You will be expected to complete a medical declaration to take part.
*Children 14+ can come along under the supervision of a responsible adult (1 adult per child).
