Super Hero Mawddach Trail Walk – WAiTS – 26th October 2019

WAiTS (Women Acting in Today’s Society) are inviting you to join them on their first
‘Super Hero’ Mawddach Trail 15km and 30km Challenge
Meeting in Dolgellau the routes will follow the Mawddach Trail to Barmouth with views across the Mawddach estuary. The 30km route will return to Dolgellau along the same path.
Super Hero fancy dress is encouraged but optional… we think you are all Super heroes anyway!
Chose the 15km or 30 km challenge.
Women Acting in Today’s Society (WAiTS) is a Birmingham based charity which supports women with issues such as welfare benefits, employment and education, domestic violence, isolation, health, and fear of crime.
The Starfish Challenge
The Starfish Challenge was created to support 20 small charities in 2019 by taking part in 20 challenge events.

This is an example itinerary. Exact details will be sent to you in the run up to the event.
7 – 7.30 – Registration
7.45am – Meet your team and safety briefing
8am – Start walking
12-1pm – Reach Barmouth – 15km walkers to get buses back to start
(There will be a cut off time of 2pm for 30km route)
6-8pm – 30km walkers arrive back in Dolgellau
This walk is for anyone 12 or over who is comfortable walking their chosen distance.
All under 18’s should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at a maximum ratio of 1:2 who will be responsible for them at all times.
Please chose either the 15km or 30km route based on your own fitness and ability.
