I see… New Beginnings…
Trek to the summit of Snowdon in time for sunrise and welcome in a new day on our Snowdon Sunrise with Warrington and Halton Hospital’s Charity Snowdon.
A night time trek by the light of your head torch (and hopefully a starry sky) to the top of the highest peak in Wales in time to see the sunrise across Snowdonia.
Leaving Llanberis in the early hours accompanied by a team of professional mountain leaders, you will head along the Llanberis Path to the summit of Snowdon (or Yr Wyddfa to use its Welsh name) reaching the summit in time to see the sunrise from one of the most beautiful destinations on earth.
You will return along the same path in the first light of dawn, reaching Llanberis just in time for breakfast.
About The Charity
Warrington and Halton Hospitals Charity raise funds to provide additional comforts care and experiences for the direct benefit of our patients and their families beyond which the NHS provides, support from our communities and corporates help WHH Charity continue enhancing the environment, provide additional specialised equipment, plus complementary services.
All funds raised for this challenges will be used to support ITU and respiratory campaigns.

Registration £45
You can secure your place with a deposit of £25. Balance (£20) will be due by 24th April 2021.
Please fundraise a minimum of £100 which will go directly to Warrington and Halton Hospital’s Charity.*

Please note that, although we would love to, we cannot guarantee a clear sky for this event!
The organisers hold Public Liability Insurance. We recommend that you take out separate personal accident insurance for this event.
This is an example itinerary, exact details will be sent to you in your event information pack 2 weeks before the event.
12.15am – Meet in Llanberis for registration
1am – Introduction to your mountain leader. Safety briefing.
1.15am – Start walking
4.45am – Reach the summit (sunrise 4.51am)
5am – Start the descent (turnaround may be quicker depending on the weather)
8am – Arrive back in Llanberis for a well earned breakfast
Please note this is 12.30am – 8am SATURDAY morning
This challenge is suitable for anyone over 14 with a good level of fitness*.
We recommend our ‘Challenging’ Training Plan for this trek.
You will be expected to complete a medical declaration to take part.
*Children 14+ can come along under the supervision of a responsible adult (1 adult per child).
