About Women Walking Wales 2017
Out on a wet and windy walk one day Tracey (Breese Adventures) and Janet (Women Working Together) decided they both needed to challenge themselves with a multi-day walking adventure. After coming up with a few crazy ideas they agreed to walk the Llyn Peninsula in September 2017, 100 miles over 5 days.
They were both very excited about this walk and realised it was an opportunity to reach out to other Gwynedd micro-businesses and show that however small or remote your business might be there is always support available. Also to promote the importance of our own health in running our businesses. They did this by inviting everyone to join them over the 5 days either to walk a section or to meet them at one of the networking meetings they held along the route.
They had an amazing time, saw some stunning parts of Wales and met some wonderful people.
Women Walking Wales 2018
In fact…. They had such an amazing time walking the Llyn Peninsula that they are doing it again for 2018! This time walking the next section of the Wales Coastal Path – from Criccieth to Machynlleth – and networking all the way.
This year they are hoping even more people will join them along the route.
If you are a Gwynedd based business, why not plan your own networking event to fit in with the walk. Tracey and Janet will call in along the way and help promote your event over the next few months. Please contact us for details.
In 2018 they will also be supporting #PlasticFreeSnowdonia. If you would like to find out more or contribute towards this please use the donate link below to take you to the Crowdfunding page.
