Team Breese – Volunteer Roles
We are really very lucky to have a handful of absolutely amazing volunteers that help out with our events. We couldn’t do it without them!
Volunteering has been very important in my life. It led to me finding my passion for the voluntary sector back in 2000; and fuelled my drive and commitment to be able to help as many charities as I can.
It helped forge a career for me I never expected and the experience and knowledge I gained as a volunteer enabled me to gain a degree in International Business Management in 2010 at University of Wolverhampton.
Which of course led to the creation of Breese Adventures!
Over the years I have been an advocate for volunteering, speaking to college groups and job seekers about the opportunities and advantages.
Always stressing that it’s important to find a volunteer role that’s right for you, one that allows you to use your strengths and develop new skills.
These values we instil in the volunteer roles we offer at our events. It’s important to us to provide opportunities which are fun and exciting and which leave our volunteers feeling valued and empowered.
You’d be a welcome and valued member of Team Breese whatever your age and experience. Perhaps you’re a trainee Event Manager looking to gain experience or a retiree with a million existing skills to share with us.
We also support a number of Mountain Leaders in building confidence and experience between training and assessment.

Here’s what a couple of our wonderful volunteers have said about being a part of our events…
“I’ve had some of the best weekends with these guys”
The past two years, I’ve had the pleasure in being able to volunteer and help out with the Snowdonia Challenge. I haven’t been well enough to enter , but wanted to do something as my partner had entered. I helped out at registration, at checkpoints and at the finish line each day. Throughout the weekend, I got to talk to the majority of the participants in one way or another. I’ve even taped up people’s feet (yes I’m one of those strange people who like feet) Tracey, Stiwart and the team made me feel very welcome and very relaxed. They always stressed that if I didn’t want to do anything , I wouldn’t have to and very quickly we formed a friendship, which is still going strong to this day.
Volunteering at this event has been absolutely amazing, I’ve made some lifelong friends and gained some amazing experience. I’ve had some of the best weekends with these guys, I loved being able to talk and encourage participants, help them along the way and to watch them complete it, makes it all worth while. I would 110% recommend volunteering at the event , or any event that Breese adventures runs.Kat
“I’m really looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at all the events this year.”
“I have enjoyed every minute of volunteering for Breese Adventures for about two years. The highly experienced team are welcoming and encouraging and the events are exceedingly well organised which gives us all the chance to enjoy ourselves and come away with a sense of something achieved. I’m really looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at all the events this year.”Jenni
